Identified by ACFDL"The coin is definitely fake, as is the patina. It''s a relatively recent fake. The fake toning is actually collecting in the recesses and can be picked up with a toothpick. It''s just shoe polish or something similar. Under a glass, the coin is covered with small pits, most likely casting pits. the style though is off slightly so it''s not a cast of an authentic coin, or the mold has been touched up."
