| | This coin has been condemned by the IBSCC Photo/ by permission International Bureau for the Suppression of Counterfeit Coins. Refer Bulletin on Counterfeits reference above. From a series of die linked counterfeits which came to light in Munich in 1987. Struck from modern dies, showing little relief and the incuse squares are shallow. Many have pronounced cracks in the planchet. Originally copied from the Bucak-Podalia hoard of 1958. This example does not have aknown die combination. |
